Smuggler's Cove

After finishing Stella's Dream I was asked to decorate up a personal grotto for another one of my raid guildies.  I said it would take me awhile because of a few other projects and being busy with life and such and he was okay with that.

I had a completely different idea than what I ended up with.  I was going to go for a Little Mermaid theme, but instead I ended up with pirates.  And I'm rather glad I chose pirates!  Because pirates are awesome!

The personal grotto is enormous so one of my goals was to help it seem a little smaller.

Here we have the Smuggler's Market where you can find just about anything you're looking for!  However, you probably won't find it at the price you'd like.

Past the Smuggler's Market you'll find the food court.  Here we have The Sword 'n Barrel where you can find the finest brews in all of Norrath!  Unfortunately, the rum is gone.

The Sword 'n Barrel took around 300+ Bubinga Lumber to build.

It didn't really help this room appear to be smaller.  The barrel is enormous, but I felt it was the right size anyway.  And I really didn't want to redo it.

There are four rooms inside the barrel.  The bar,

The casino via a door hidden behind a curtain.

Currency Exchange for all your gambling needs (rum make substitute as currency).

Below the casino and bar you will find the storage and brewery.

You might want to be careful though.  I hear there's some bad deals that go down here.

Outside you'll find some little shops with tasty delights such as sausages from Sausage In A Bun, turkey legs from Slab On A Stick, tacos from Lettuce In A Shell, pizza from Cheese In A Pie and don't forget to grab some dessert from Cake In A Cup!

Further into the grotto you will come across Drinal Lane one of the many pirate towns hidden around the Cove.

A little park for the pirates to rest at.  Pirates enjoy pretty things too!

Entrance to Drinal Lane.  I've named it Drinal Lane because the guild's name is Guardians of Drinal and I felt it appropriate.

At the end of the lane you'll find a nice cozy fishing area the pirates like to hang out at.

Gateway of Realms is where the pirates go to travel to other areas of Norrath.

These flag stands will hold the Velious portal pictures once Jerret puts them in the house.

And lastly, guild hall portal and other non-pictures portal items.

And there you have it!  Smuggler's Cove is not currently on the leaderboards, but it is open to visitors.
