Vale of the Eternal Tempest

Out of all the homes I have recently decorated this is my favorite.  It was originally supposed to be a recreation of Fallingwater but it didn't quite turn out that way.  I am still very pleased with how it turned out and I plan to eventually possibly do a full recreation of the Fallingwaters home.

It was quite a challenge to build this house as I don't do a whole lot of actual building of buildings do to normally only building inside homes.  I'm working on doing more actual structures ;)  Enjoy!

You have survived the storm and have made it to the shores of the Vale of the Eternal Tempest.  But will you be able to leave the island?  Will you brave the storm once more?

I wanted a very clay look and the teak was about the only color for that.  I was afraid it wouldn't look right, but with the lighting in the storm isle it came out looking darker and now I <3 it!

Let's go inside!  I don't know why, but I demanded to have a cubby under the stairs, so now I have one.

I decided that I didn't want a pile of rooms and walls in the home.  It was designed with an open concept in mind with all the windows, so I followed that with an open central room.

The Chess and Reading Nook

Back wall-window.  Sorry you can't walk through it!

Kitchen and Bar

Upstairs we have the study.

The Bedroom

The baths

Bath controls!  It'll heat the water, cool the water, make it bubble and all sorts of other things!

The balcony

Time to roast some marshmallows!

The balcony is made of glass and hovers partly over the kitchen.  You can look straight down and see what's cooking for dinner!  Or see who's trying to steal the rum...

Let's take a peak outside!

The Tower has been sealed.  Only one with powerful magic or born of blood may enter this place.

The tower is currently under construction!  And is one of the current projects I am working on.

The Watchman's Guarding Dark - A little homage to Terry Pratchett's Thud!

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Who watches the watchmen? Me. I watch him. - Terry Pratchett, Thud!

The docks and The Pirate's Star

The shipwreck

Not every ship will survive the Eternal Storm.

The Fishing Hut

And from the fishing hut you can see The Dirty Hangman sailing off into the storm.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to the Vale of the Eternal Storm.  Good luck swimming back to safety!

Crimsonblade Armada VIP Guest Rooms

Name: Neversea
Location: Secluded Sanctum, Freeport

As the Galleon of Dreams really doesn't have any lower decks to continue to build on, I decided to create other pieces of the ship in other homes!  I looked through all of my undecorated homes and decided on the Secluded Sanctum.  It had the luxurious beds already inside it, so that would save some item count right off!  I wanted it to definitely appear as if it could be inside a ship.  It took me some time to decide on the combination of wood that would work best.

The angle that the sanctum is set off makes decorating it a bit of a challenge, but it didn't turn me away and I manage to get it done with very little headaches.  That's always a plus.  I had a lot of fun doing up this place and bringing to life an image I've had in my head for years.  I'm sure you're tried of me rattling on, so enjoy your stay in the Crimsonblade Armada VIP Guest Rooms!

I decided that I wanted a central area for the guest rooms.  I have a ton of galleons and I did not want to build several guest rooms, so I found a way to do just that!

There were a few things I wanted to be sure to include since these are supposed to be the VIP rooms!  There are several places for guests to lounge around and visit other guests.

I wanted to include a small kitchen/dining area so that the uptight fancy guests won't have to dine with the pirate crew ;)

There are a total of 13 guest rooms.  There are 5 on either side of the common rooms.  These rooms are fairly the same with only a few minor differences in size and decor.

As I said before, I wanted to accommodate all sorts of guests.  For entertainment we have the shooting range!  Throw some daggers with your fancy pals or sit around and watch other people do it.  Make sure you look at this room closely if you go to visit in person ;)

I definitely wanted to include a bath.  Pirates can walk around smelling of rum, but it's not something a fancy guest would certainly do!  There are two of these rooms set back to back in the middle of the more fancy rooms.

Along with the baths, I've included a 5th private bath.

For guests who always get a little restless, there's the training room!  Take out that stress on one of the dummies or maybe another guest.  Just don't stain the carpets please.  This room was designed by the lovely Lalayla!

There are 3 really really nice rooms, decorated for those much more important guests, like the Dame Euryale herself.  Unfortunately, her ranger has to sleep outside. ;)  Each of these are decorated slightly different.

This room includes a private bath.

This room includes a private strategy area.

And there you have it!  The Crimsonblade Armada VIP Guest Rooms!  I hoped you enjoyed your stay!  Watch your step when you step onto the docks!
